             Many citizens in this great country, mostly young adults and liberals, do not comprehend (or do and don’t care) how fundamentally, remarkably and negatively President Obama is transforming America, right before our very eyes. Like my teacher and mentor, Dennis Prager, I believe America is the greatest country in the history of the world because of very specific and unique values we hold so dearly. Most important among these values is the American Trinity (which Dennis explains in detail below): E Pluribus Unum (from many one), G-d and Liberty. And in my opinion, liberty is paramount. President Obama and the liberal Congress are corroding these values, unlike any US Government in history.

           By massively expanding the size and scope of the government, Obama is taking more power and freedom out of the hands of the American people, and giving it to the government. By raising taxes, Obama is reducing, perhaps, our greatest rights as American citizens and humans; private property and the right to do what one please with the fruits of their labor. By pushing cap and trade legislation, Obama is reducing the freedom with which American businesses can operate. By advocating socialized healthcare, Obama is putting 1/6th of the entire GDP into the hands of the government, essentially ruining our healthcare system; a system that is no doubt flawed and in need of improvements, but inarguably the greatest healthcare system in the world. 

           Furthermore, by not participating in the National day of prayer, the President is sending a signal that G-d does not play an important role in our country. This is nothing new, as the left has long abandoned the idea that G-d plays a pivotal role in American exceptionalism, as lefty organizations such as the ACLU attack G-d and religion every chance they get -- promoting the outlaw of an optional moment of silence to be held in public schools, and demanding the words, "under G-d" be stripped from the pledge of allegiance. It was with the utmost intention that the second paragraph of the declaration of independence states:

"We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness. — That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed." It is obvious what the founders intended when they used the word "creator." Americans get our rights directly from G-d, not from the government. Once G-d is taken out of the picture then natural rights and liberty are tenuous and left up to the whim of politicians. This is one of the main reasons Communist countries were, and still are, synonymous with secularism and totalitarianism, as the all encompassing government crowds out the necessity of G-d and natural rights.


            Yes, that’s right, America voted for change in 2008, and change is precisely what we’re getting

            The AIPAC conference in DC was absolutely incredible. AIPAC is the American Israeli Political Action Committee, and is involved in lobbying congress in order to benefit the State of Israel. As Newt  Gingrich said in his speech at the conference, "The future of Israel and America are inextricably intertwined. A world that destroys Israel will surely destroy America." There were about 7,000 people in attendance. The conference was comprised of speeches, lectures and classes on a wide variety of issues relating to Israel, including: Hezbolla, Hamas, Gaza, Energy, Iran and the unique relationship between Israel and America. The highlight of the conference was, without a doubt, Newt Gingrich. His words were so powerful and motivating. He spoke mainly about the vital importance of preventing Iran from creating a nuclear bomb. He spoke with such moral clarity about good and evil, and how America and the rest of civilization need to stand united against the evil Iranian Despot, Ahmedinejad. He compared this crisis with Iran to the 1930s and 1980s. Hopefully, he stated, we will not act the same way we did in the 1930s when we could've prevented WWII if the civilized democracies showed unity and strength against Hitler, instead of appeasing him. Newt then pointed out that if America and the world stand up to Iran with strength, the way Reagan did towards the Soviet menace, then we will be successful.             Shimon Perez, the President of Israel, was the other highlight. He spoke so sincerely about his hopes for peace in Israel. John Kerry and Joe Biden also spoke. They were both very forthright in their support of Israel. However, the differences in the approaches to foreign affairs between Gingrich and the two prominent Democrats are like night and day. Newt Gingrich was more forceful in his statements in support of Israel, against Hamas and in preventing Iran from obtaining a nuclear weapon, whereas Biden and Kerry were more flimsy and ambiguous. The lowlight of the conference was California senator Diane Feinstein who spoke very critically about the state of Israel, and the settlements. Any supporters of Israel who vote for her should be ashamed of themselves. The other California Senator, Barbara Boxer was much better, and very clear in her support of Israel. The Conference is held every year, and I highly encourage any supporters of Israel to make the trip next year. The Conference was both informative and inspiring.

 
 

If Al Gore and the rest of the Environmental nuts get their way then America, as we know it, will be ruined. Newt Gingrich spoke to Congress about how cap and trade regulations to reduce CO2 emissions would destroy our economy. Gingrich advocates exploration into America's vast energy reserves in ANWR and off the coast in California and Florida. He also advocates reward and initiative based policies rather than heavy tax and regulation based ones, to help curb CO2 emissions. The left claims to be the champions of the disenfranchised and the lower class, but cap and trade regulations would disproportionately hurt those individuals and families, as energy taxes sky rocket. Think about it. A person who earns 30 thousand dollars per year and a person who earns 200 thousand dollars per year will drive approximately the same amount of miles in one year. The lower income person could possibly drive more if their job is further from their home than the wealthier person's, and therefore pay more in gas costs. However, the poorer person will be paying a much larger percentage of their income towards gas prices than the wealthier. This disproportionate cost analysis includes watching TV, showers and computer usage, all of which lower income families utilize as much as wealthier Americans. But make no mistake, Al Gore and the rest of the environmentalists care little about the everyday economic problems of regular Americans. Global warming hysteria and extreme environmentalism has become a religion, wherein facts and logic matter little. The far left is determined to ruin our economy even though it will do little to help our environment.

 
 

President Obama recently ordered the CIA and the Justice Dept. to release memos outlining the exact interrogation techniques American operatives used to extract information from known terrorists. Some of these methods include water boarding, sleep deprivation and scare tactics involving bugs. These are the techniques that the President has termed "torture," and has outlawed, even though these techniques were incredibly effective in gaining valuable intelligence and preventing further terrorist attacks. In short, these techniques literally helped save American lives. President Obama and other hysteric liberals inaccurately call these effective techniques "torture." Ask John Mccain and he'll tell you about torture, or watch a youtube video of Islamofascists decapitating Daniel Pearls head, and you'll get a better understanding of what torture really is.
President Obama and other liberals self righteously state that America is above "torture" and that we cannot compromise our values in our fight against terrorism. Really? Basically, the President is saying that if it were known that a captured terrorist had information about an impending attack, we would not put a scary bug in his cell to compel him to speak in order to uphold our "values." What a bunch of BS. What about the American value of stopping Americans from being incinerated to death, or crashed into buildings on 747s? This morning the President stated that protecting Americans is his number one priority. If this were the case then the President would not mind violating the rights of known terrorists, with the blood of American citizens on their hands, in order to prevent future attacks. It is clear that the President is putting the rights and well being of terrorists over that of Americans.

 
 

Avi Lewis, a far left liberal commentator interviewed Ayaan Hirsi Ali, prominent conservative and supporter of America from a Muslim background. Ayaan's story is an incredible one as she was born in Somalia and subjected to Genital mutilation, and is now a successful author here in America. There has never before been such a contrast in an interview of Knowledge, wit and intellect to stupidity. Watch for yourself.

 
 

In Prague over the weekend President Obama vowed to work towards "a world without Nuclear Weapons." Not only is this completely unattainable, it is utterly foolish and naive. In short, it is something only a liberal would pursue. Does the President sincerely believe America could ever trust regimes in North Korea, Iran or Pakistan to abide by any non proliferation pacts? Any such agreements would lead to America without any nukes and our enemies with plenty, in the same way that gun regulations only disarm law abiding citizens. America's nuclear arsenal serves as a check against our enemies, as it did with Russia during the Cold War.

There is a misconception among liberals that weapons are inherently bad. The fact of the matter is that weapons are neutral. People are the evil or good ones who control the weapons. A weapon in the hands of the Nazis or Islamofascists used to slaughter innocents is bad; a weapon in the hands of America used to free Auschwitz, deter the Russian Communists and kill terrorists is good.
In conclusion, President Obama should do everything in his power to prevent totalitarian regimes and terrorist entities from acquiring nukes. However, the idea that America enter into some sort of world treaty to destroy all nukes is pie-in-the-sky drivel.

              President Obama is being extremely misleading when he states that his plans to reform healthcare, energy and education are essential in order to jumpstart our economy. This is simply not true as education, healthcare and energy have very little to do with this economic crisis. The economic crisis is centered in the financial sector and the housing market. The reason for the housing crisis, by the way, is because for years liberals in congress have been coercing banks to make loans to unqualified borrowers, because of a misguided liberal compassionate notion that everybody should own a home. It is because of this intervention in the free market that housing collapsed. Any way, back to the point.
            Obama is using this economic crisis to impose his big government ideology on the American people, in a way that has no connection with the economic crisis. Now, legislating universal healthcare may be good policy, if one believes in socialized medicine (which I do not), however, healthcare costs have nothing to do with our economic troubles. And even if they did, how would insuring another thirty or so million Americans make healthcare cheaper? It makes absolutely no sense. Like I said, it may be good compassionate policy, but it will not help our economy in the slightest. 
            The same can be said for education. Vastly increasing the money we spend on public education may good policy, but it will not jumpstart our economy. Perhaps in twenty years this may help our economy, but for now the President should be focused on getting our economy out of the gutter, a very difficult task, that has little to do with education. And if the President were so concerned with education he would legislate the voucher program, wherein parents choose what schools their children go to, increasing competition and quality of education.
             The President has also said that an energy overhaul is needed to help our economy. Well, this may be true, but his strategy has nothing to do with making energy cheaper; in fact, his policy proposals will do the exact opposite. The President is proposing new energy taxes and cap and trade. These two initiatives have nothing to do with improving energy prices and everything to do with preventing global warming. Once again, preventing global warming may be good public policy, but it has absolutely nothing to do with improving our economy! If the President were so concerned with energy prices he would advocate exploration into America’s vast oil fields off the coast of California and Florida, and in Alaska.

 
 

Howard Dean appeared on Countdown with Keith Olbermann and rightfully criticized the use of the term "fascist" to describe Obama. Then Dean, to his credit, said that it was completely inappropriate for anybody to use the term "fascist" to describe Former President Bush.
